Hiii, I’m Brittany!

My friends love to call me a "professional hobbyist," and it's hard to argue with them. I have the "oh-I-can-make-that" bug, so my office and surrounding surfaces are usually covered in the latest project I've dreamt up.

Eight years ago, I was diagnosed with Celiac and took on another project—recreating gluten-free bagels that taste pretty damn close to the real thing. After nearly 10 years in NYC, my family bought a home (okay, another project...) in Westport, CT. Once we settled in and finished our kitchen I found myself baking a lot more and trying to recreate the magic of my childhood—memories filled with scouring our yard for wild blackberries and leaning over kitchen counters perpetually dusted with flour from my mom’s cooking—but this time, for my own kids.

Between wrangling my three boys, working in the garden, testing gluten-free treats, planning home-cooked meals with friends, and tending to our chickens, I believe in the quiet beauty of slow living and the absolute joy of homegrown hospitality.

Thank you for being here <3
